((Whenever I get a female Ponyta or Rapidash in any of my games in which I don’t already have one, they get named Kushka. Honestly I can’t think of a better name than one that is already attached to a badass ‘comet-pony’. I only hope that as I train them they live up to their namesake.

I’ve never actually trained a Zangoose tbh. I just never had a version that I could catch them in, but I guess I would base the naming on Romeo and Juliet? A male Zangoose would be Montague and a female would be Capulet. c: ))

(( I like to err on the side of odd sets that aren’t the standard for a reason but can still be effective because either pokemon or the moves aren’t expected. The Special Machamp for one. A 65 base stat in special attack isn’t that great even with a boosting nature, high IVs and even Choice specs. But the moves have perfect accuracy and stupidly high BP. And nobody expects it to boot.

Skipping ahead to fifth gen mons I have a soft spot for Skill link Minncino or Technician Mincinno. I used one in a computer generated tourney and it destroyed a Metagross and a Regirock. With Skill Link you have pretty much your choice of nearly all the multiple hitting moves with wide coverage, Sing, WakeUp Slap and some other useful moves. It’s a pretty efficient revenge killer. And unexpected.

Zwielous is also a good pokemon by itself. I do believe it has the strongest Outrage in the entire game. It also has good coverage in Crunch and some other moves. It is lacking in defence and speed so you can put and Evolite on it and it’ll bulk it up some but it works best with some team support. Baton pass a Hone Claws and that’ll fix the accuracy drop and still boost attack. I recommend with Trick room or a Baton Pass team.

Alomomola is surprisingly bulky and hard to kill, especially with Wish. It also makes a good team player. It’s not offensive in any way but it’s great for stalling.

Amoongus is also stupidly bulky, has access to spore and other good utility moves. It works as a good annoyer and can last for a little bit in battle.

Crustle <3 Especially in game when you can abuse sturdy to wrack up Shell Smashes. But yeah. It’s surprisingly well overlooked and can do set up with spikes and stealth rock, or if given the chance boost itself for offense.

Wormdam Steel is another fun choice. It is only weak to fire which is really super useful in game in Diamond and Pearl. Beyond that it’s a bit more iffy but it’s defensive typing is good even if the stats are so so. Pokemon that don’t have a move that can hit hard enough to do real damage to it might just be blocked.

Bibarel. <3 oh my gosh if only it was allowed to keep moody. It can be a surprising pokemon to face and has a few options that Smogon doesn’t post because they aren’t necessarily the most competitively viable but they are still usable. It’s standard abilities are actually pretty useful. Unaware Bibarel pretty much wastes some pokemons attempt to boost their stats while Simple can quickly let it stack some stat boosts of it’s own. Normal/Water has great coverage and hits just about everything for neutral damage. Just beware that in the fifth gen Baton pass boosts are no longer doubled by simple, but in fourth gen feel free to go nuts. I really love the derpy beaver. <3

Don’t get me started on Clamperl and Gorebyss in Fifth gen. It’s just beautiful. A Clamperl hitting harder than Attack Deoxys? <3 <3 <3

There’s still the infamous Stallrein Wallrein if you want to try a hail team. <3

Manectric is just really underrated. Good speed and good special attack and then throw in stab electric attacks? Good. Give it access to poweful fire attacks? Absolutely wonderful.

There’s Kingdra with it’s Water/Dragon typing. It’s really annoying to beat.

Miltank. We all know exactly what I mean.

Marcargo is another odd one. It does get Shell Smash if Fifth gen but it still kind of sucks. A bit better than before but still fragile and with pretty poor typing. Though if you slap a focus sash on it it can do some good damage and outpace a few pokemon that could be threats.

Jumpluff. The most annoying little buggers to ever exist. Get your hands on a good set and an unprepared opponent will be ready to rip their hair out. It works best with Sun support and in Fifth gen it gets Acrobatics and actually start to deal out good damage.

There’s more but, uh, they’re a bit more common I think. >.>;))

One time I was bored at work so I thought of all the ways I could kill off William… rather depressing.

I actually really enjoy thinking of ways to kill my characters. I feel uncomfortable with characters unless I know how their story ends and how they die.

this probably surprises no one.

((Most of my character killing ideas are really spontaneous but once I get it into my head it’s gonna happen, and it’s really satisfying when I finally get around to doing it. I’ll spend weeks sketching plotting and trying to figure out the best possible way to do it.

Actually my sketch book is filled with a ton of different deaths for a couple characters right now. Still working on a few of them though. / :< ))

She was hurt and lost and trapped and lied to. She can not correct these wrongs by herself. So I will help. I will give to her the things that she has been asking for but the others have ignored. The humans that tend to her will be dealt with later. I can’t have her be mad at me, no… I might be thrown out. So until I know better I will only abide by her wishes.

Her mind was still reeling even as the medical staff escorted her off the boat and back onto Kanto soil. Hypothermia. Frost bite. Lucky to be alive. Meaningless words exchanged over her head and behind her back as she was handed off to the nurses that would check her into the med bay. Just another examination to tell her what she already knew, and had known since Drowzee- no, it was Hypno now, had intervened and subdued the Ice Golem; she would live. She was going to make it out of there alive. But that didn’t mean anything. Nobody was answering her questions and Gabby was getting seriously pissed off, even as drugged up as she was.

The hell to them, the nurses and rescue team and even her CO could go face that frozen terror that was now contained in a special pokeball and die for all she cared. They wouldn’t tell her anything. Not the important stuff at the very least. She didn’t need to know about the success of the mission nor her own medical state. Where. Were. Her. Pokemon. The three pokeballs that she had carried into the mission had been confiscated almost immediately upon rescue and any time she inquired about their location or state the question was either dodged or the nurses found some excuse to drug her up even further.

So fine. She would follow through the motions like a good patient and half listen to the doctor as he gave orders of immediate bed rest and a temporary leave of duty. If given time to rest she would be fit for basic duty within a week or so. Good. Great. Peachy. Some pills to take now? Let’s get it over with. Now what about her pokemon? A call to a nurse provided a single pokeball, Roberta’s from the look of it, and the information that her other pokemon were currently being treated by the vets. She was led over to an empty cot and made to lie down. Her question still wasn’t answered not in full. The doctor, or was it the nurse now, assured her that once she was feeling better the appropriate paperwork would be sent her way. Still didn’t answer her question- woah, sleeping pills. Low blow Doc’, low blow. She was going to have her answers… just, maybe it’d have to wait until she woke up again.

I do feel like this is a bit of a cop-out but with finals coming up in a week and lots of other projects to get done I really don’t have enough time or energy to devote 10 or so hours to finishing the final animation.

I didn’t want to leave you guys with nothing so I wrote this up in hopes that it’ll at the very least allow me to put Gabby and her team into Post round 6 mode.

And just to make things a bit more clear as to the status of each character….

Gabby: In the Med bay and drugged to keep her from getting too worked up. She is still open for questions but will most likely be woozy and a huge grump

Murder Bird: Currently closed for questions

Treads: Currently closed for questions

Roberta: Open for questions but she has no clue as to what occured during the last mission

Graham: Open for questions

Hypno: Open for questions

Linoone: Open for questions

Baby Doll: Permidently closed for all questions

Hmm… I’ve had this problem with spriting before. When you save it, are you overwriting the framerate with a universal one perhaps?

((I haven’t the foggiest. Mostly my work with animation in photoshop and then saving it as a gif has been through trial and error. A lot of error.))
